Who Will Carve the Best Pumpkin? Join Our Competition!

Spooky, funny, or completely unusual? What will your pumpkin look like? Get creative and join our Halloween pumpkin carving competition at Loket Castle!

Halloween is just around the corner, and so is pumpkin carving season! This year, we'd love to get our visitors involved, so we're organising a competition for the best carved pumpkin. Whether you're carving on your own, with friends, or with the whole family, we'd love to see what you come up with!

How can you take part? Simply bring your finished carved pumpkin to Loket Castle between 27 and 30 October 2026. The castle is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Don't forget to attach your surname and phone number so we can contact you if you win.

All the pumpkins will be displayed at the castle during our Halloween Ghost Gathering on 30 October, giving visitors a chance to admire your creations.

And of course, there are prizes to be won! The winners will receive prizes and a family ticket to our St. Martin's Festival, taking place on 14 November. Winners will be contacted on 2 November 2026.

We can't wait to see how many creative pumpkins make their way to the castle this year. So, who's ready to start carving?

Programme subject to change.
