Medieval Festivities of Burgrave Půta at Loket Castle

Loket Castle will come alive on 13–14 June 2026 with a medieval atmosphere full of knights, music, jesters, and a historical program for the whole family.

During the weekend of 13 and 14 June 2026, Loket Castle will be filled with a true medieval atmosphere. From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy a knightly tournament, fencing battles, a medieval market, demonstrations of historical crafts, falconry training, music, dance, juggling, acrobatics, and workshops for children.

The program will also include the blessing of the statue of St. Ambrose, a historical parade through the town, and acrobatic performances by the group Cirkus Céres. Visitors will also enjoy performances by Stáj Trojan, Arcus, Divadlo Pohádka, Mericia, Culina Historica, Hop, Equites, Sokolník, and Sebranka.

Throughout the event, accompanying programs will take place at T. G. Masaryk Square, including live music, horse rides, a historical carousel, archery shooting range, and workshops for children.
