Dear visitors, roof repairs are taking place on the castle building, which partially restricts movement in the castle courtyard and the private castle parking lot. At the same time, construction work is underway to build the Creative Cultural Center, due to which the porcelain exhibition has been relocated from the Wing by the Tower to the North Palace and the Rotunda Wing. St. Martin’s Celebrations at Loket Castle

November 8, 2025, Loket Castle will come alive with the traditional celebrations of St. Martin!

In the morning, the night watchman will greet you with his call, the Varyton Choir will sing, and you’ll be entertained by the popular Mr. Night Watchman’s Mixed-Up Fairy Tales. The magical atmosphere will be enhanced by a barrel organ player with melodies that will take you back to old times.

For children, a St. Martin’s trail will be prepared, playfully introducing the themes of light, festivity, and giving. Little pilgrims can look forward to tasks, a creative lantern-making workshop, a carousel, and a reward for completing the trail.

In the afternoon, music by Patrik Music will sound, and as dusk falls – at 17:15– a lantern procession will set off from the castle, accompanying the festive arrival of St. Martin on a white horse. The entire procession will conclude with an impressive fire show that will light up the night and close a day full of light and festive spirit.

Throughout the day, the courtyard will delight you with St. Martin’s deli­cacies – fragrant goose and duck, rolls, cakes, and mulled wine.
