Easter Menu at Loket Castle

April 3–4, 2026

We warmly invite you to Loket Castle on Good Friday, April 3, 2026, which this year will be filled with the aroma of traditional delicacies and a spring atmosphere. We have prepared a rich festive menu that will delight lovers of classic Czech cuisine as well as Easter specialties. Refreshments will also be available at the castle on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

FESTIVE MENU

Main dishes:

• Herb-roasted lamb (rosemary, thyme), Slavkov-style potatoes, onion marmalade
• Easter forester’s beef patties, cabbage, stuffed dumpling, crispy onion strips
• Roast pork with horseradish and cream
• Lean schnitzel with light spring potato salad with vegetables and herbs
• Venison or lamb ragout in porcini mushroom sauce

Soups:

• Bread soup with egg and mead
• Strong chicken broth with semolina dumplings
• Traditional dill soup (“kulajda”)

Stuffings:

• Traditional Czech bread stuffing with liver, nettles and sage
• Royal stuffing with apples and nuts, cinnamon basil
• Bread stuffing with roasted bacon and parsley

For children:

• Sweet dumplings, homemade pastries, lean meat and Loket rolls
• Honey fritters with blueberry sauce and farm cream

From the grill:

• Blood sausages
• Minced beef patties
• Chicken slices with herbs
• Grilled vegetables
• Potato pancakes
• Page’s ham
• Traditional smoked bacon from the chimney
• Venison sausages and other specialties

Drinks:

• Beer
• Homemade lemonades from fresh fruit and herbs
• Blue tea and selection of teas
• Various types of coffee
• Thick hot chocolate with whipped cream

• Bread with crackling lard
• Open sandwiches

• Traditional Easter pastries (jidáše) and buns with butter
