Good Friday at Loket Castle

A day full of fun, games and Easter joy

Experience Good Friday in the unique atmosphere of Loket Castle and welcome spring with tradition and joy. On Friday, 3 April 2026, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, you can enjoy Easter customs, music, fairy tales and entertainment for the whole family.

During the day you can look forward to:

• popular stilt performances with a hopping Easter bunny,
• the fairy tale “The Easter Bunny”,
• a performance by the Varyton Choir,
• and accordion player Tomáš Mauer.
• Throughout the day, the sound of Mr. Roháč’s barrel organ will also fill the castle grounds.

For young visitors, there will be a castle trail with tasks and a historic carousel.

You can also look forward to traditional festive treats, a gingerbread baker, and demonstrations of Easter egg decorating using carving and wire techniques. On the first floor of the Margraviate building, you can visit the exhibition “Easter from the Depository”, presenting festive traditions and historical objects connected with Easter.

Come and enjoy a festive day in the picturesque setting of the castle, where history meets tradition and the joy of the coming spring.
